Job Summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Practice Administrator to be an integral part of the management team. Provides leadership, management, and operational support within the assigned medical practice(s) to ensure achievement of the organization’s strategic and operational plans by effectively managing human, financial and capital resources within the spirit of its missions and values. This role will support outpatient orthopedic practices and other specialties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Works with administrative and physician leadership to chart and implement the Practice Plan’s mission in response to the changing needs of the community. Coordinates efforts of clinical leadership and administrative staff in recruitment, development, evaluation, and retention of medical and non-medical personnel. Assists and supports the long-range financial development and management of the organization.

Qualifications

Education: Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Services, or a related field. 

Experience: Required:  3 - 5 years of progressive responsible operations experience in an ambulatory care setting.  

Preferred:  Demonstrated record of positive management/leadership outcomes preferably in large, complex, multi-specialty practice(s), and exposure to an academic environment strongly desired.
